The cast dabbles more in the fields of radioactivity, getting first hand experiences with the true element and themes of the fifth season.
The first team has a problem with aiding the other team. The leader works to fix that, but the oblivious problem has fellow supporters. A lug falls for a different team player, but eventually falls for a girl of his own team. A writer plans on making a fortune writing about their times on the show. The team ultimately survives another week.
The second team has issues conversing with one another. Too much tension occurs between teammates. Two teammates grow closer while two others become great enemies. Other teammates bond over intellects. In the end, a bombastic contestant is hurled off the island for something they didn't do, leaving the team to wonder what truly happened.
The third team attempts to become unified, but has broken apart in groups. A different team player temporarily falls for a sweetheart. Two unlikely contestants bond with one another. A mastermind attempts to craft a monster, but ends up winning the challenge for their team. In the end, an alliance is formed.
